An Improved Right Pane and a New Workspaces List

An Improved Right Pane #8965

The right pane keeps Changes, Files, Pages, a browser or a terminal open beside your agent, and it got easier to use.

Opening Changes and a file in the right pane, then keeping the file's preview tab
  • + opens a New Tab screen with every tool and its hotkey, this workspace's newest pages, and its pull requests
  • Files open in a preview tab with an italic title. Click the tab to keep it #8964
  • The main + menu has an Open in right pane section #9019
  • It's on for everyone, and its switch is gone from Settings → Experimental #9008
  • Agents can open and arrange it too, with superset panes #9204

Open it with ⌘⇧G for Changes or ⌘⇧B for a browser, or click + in the right pane.

A New Workspaces List #9115

The Workspaces page now works like an issue tracker. Pick a built-in view (All, Needs me, Working), add filter chips for host, project, creator or status, and save the result as your own view.

  • Display switches between list and board, groups by status, project, host or creator, and orders by the last agent message, creation time or name
  • Long lists scroll smoothly, and your choices are kept

Open Workspaces in the sidebar.

Group Your Automations #9210

Automations can now live in groups. Right-click an automation and choose Move to group, or type a new name to create one.

Selecting three automations, moving them into a new Weekly group, then dragging one more in
  • Drag a row, or a whole selection, onto another group
  • ⌘-click to select several, then move, pause, resume or delete them at once
  • From the CLI: superset automations update <id> --group "Daily check-ins" #9209

Open Automations in the sidebar. Docs: Automations.

Improvements

  • Subagents and background work in the top bar - one top-bar button shows the branch's pull request and opens a panel with the running subagents, background shells and pull requests from every tab #8975
  • Pull requests act as you - merging, commenting and resolving threads use your own GitHub login, never the login of the machine that runs the workspace #8799 #8980
  • Ukrainian - pick «Українська» in Settings → Appearance, contributed by @serhii-kucherenko #9190
  • Organization plugins - admins sync plugins from their own GitHub repositories and offer them to members by role, in Settings → Plugins #8327
  • New plugins - Resend, Peec AI, and Sazabi, contributed by @shcallaway #9005 #9087 #9169
  • Click a terminal link - a plain click on a URL opens a menu to open it in the app, in your browser, or copy it #9092
  • Copy a workspace link - right-click a workspace in the sidebar and choose Copy → Copy link to paste it into Linear or Slack #9112
  • Antigravity status and models - Antigravity sessions now show their status dot and get a model and effort picker #9070
  • A faster app - agent events and workspace switches no longer redraw the whole window, and hidden panes no longer redraw on every git change #9202 #9149
  • Lighter onboarding - fewer screens, and no setup step when the GitHub CLI is already signed in #9074
  • Experimental: turn on chat in Settings → Experimental → Chat, now saved to your account on every device. Chat shows how full the context window is, offers Undo per turn, draws Mermaid diagrams, and pauses at a usage limit with a Resume at reset button #9162 #8929 #8941 #9083 #9109
